Michael Abolafia
Affiliate Program Manager, GSI Commerce
Mike was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive affiliate
marketing program as a central component to the sales growth of an expanding
roster of GSI e-commerce client partners. During his tenure, he worked
with a team that instituted affiliate marketing strategies which have
yielded double-digit growth for such established brands as TheSportsAuthority.com,
Dick's Sporting Goods, Reebok, and Ace Hardware. Mike works with a team
to manage affiliate marketing programs that have contributed to the growth
of a GSI roster currently exceeding 40 partners. Along with Mike, GSI
Commerce now has 6 people dedicated to driving sales via Affiliate Marketing
resulting in a win-win for GSI's Affiliates and Merchant Partners.
Mike possesses a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland, and
further built a foundation for his role at GSI Commerce while contributing
to the working in Affiliates at half.com. An important component of his
experience has been adapting to the dynamic and evolving conditions of
the online marketplace, and balancing the needs of business clients with
the competing interests of the wide array of affiliate partners that formulate
the base of his marketing efforts. At GSI the relationships with our Affiliates
are a cornerstone of our strategy.
Dan Chiss
Director, Partner Services of Performics
Dan Chiss is Director of Partner Services at Performics, which provides
performance-based online marketing services and technologies for leading
multi-channel marketers. Dan is responsible for overseeing partner development,
affiliate operations, and media planning and buying. Performics recently
announced its intent to be acquired by DoubleClick Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK)
Previously, Dan was Director of Marketing and Business Development for
RollingStone.com, where he oversaw marketing and strategic alliances for
a $22 million, 100-person standalone division of a publicly-held company.
He also spent several years working for a leading music promotions company
and, early in his career, founded his own mobile DJ business.
Dan holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Indiana University.
Peter Chun
Merchant Account Manager, LinkShare
Peter Chun is Account Manager at LinkShare, and is responsible for managing
and growing a strategic portfolio of merchant accounts. He consults with
his clients on a regular basis, providing strategic guidance, direction,
and insight for managing highly successful affiliate marketing programs
and increasing online revenue through this channel. His previous experience
ranges from business development and strategic consulting, to sales and
marketing, at Sirius Satellite Radio and Kozmo.com. Peter earned his undergraduate
degree from The George Washington University.
Shawn Collins
Co-founder, Affiliate Summit
Shawn has been an affiliate since 1997, and an affiliate manager since
1998. He was the affiliate manager for one of the early affiliate programs,
Medsite.com, and he ran the first affiliate program directory, Refer-it,
in the late 90s.
As Director of Affiliate Marketing for ClubMom, where he launched the affiliate
program in March 2000, he's built one of the premier per lead affiliate
programs. In this role at ClubMom, he was also a 'super affiliate' as we
handled more than 120 affiliate relationships with brands such as Barnes
& Noble.com, Dell, and the Gap.
His book, "Successful Affiliate Marketing for Merchants" is the best selling book in the space, and it is
considered to be required reading by affiliate managers.
He recently published the AffStat 2004 Report, a research, analysis, and
benchmarking report for the affiliate marketing industry. The data in the
AffStat series is widely quoted by trade publications, including Internet
Retailer and Jupitermedia properties.
Additionally, Shawn is frequently quoted in publications such as DM News, Internet Retailer, Inc.
Magazine, MarketingSherpa, and the New York Times.
Todd Crawford
Vice President, Western Sales, Commission Junction
As vice president of western sales Todd Crawford directs the western sales
team and is responsible for increasing Commission Junction's market share
and driving new revenues. His responsibilities also include overseeing
the development of agency relationships and evaluating business development
opportunities. Todd Crawford first joined Commission Junction in 1998 as
vice president of sales, and during his tenure at Commission Junction he
has held positions as vice president strategic initiatives and vice president
business development, in addition to managing operations in the United
Kingdom. Crawford has extensive experience in online performance marketing
and speaks often at industry conferences and marketing events.
David Delisle
CEO, WebBloom
David Delisle is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of WebBloom (www.webbloom.com),
a vibrant Online Marketing company rooted in the heart of Victoria, Canada.
Seeing a need for a team approach to the development and deployment of
corporate websites, he established the company in 2001.
He is an active member in the Affiliate Marketing community and challenges
ideas and trends in an effort to continually drive this new medium.
His passion for Online Marketing started at the early age of 12 when he
started a Bulletin Board Service (BBS); an early version of a website and
still many years before the World Wide Web. This was his first encounter

Kim Gowie
Affiliate Manager, American Consumer Opinion
Kim Gowie manages the American Consumer Opinionョ Affiliate Program. American
Consumer Opinionョ Online Surveys, boasts the largest worldwide online consumer
panel. American Consumer Opinion is owned and operated by Decision Analyst,
Inc., a premiere global marketing research and consulting firm. Under Kim's
leadership affiliate referrals have doubled, due largely to her success
in the European Markets-notably the UK and Germany.
Kim's Internet marketing background runs the gamut from managing advertising
campaigns and strategic alliance relationships with top Media Metrix websites,
to managing a global affiliate program. Of past assignments, working with
the largest online matchmaker-Match.com-is quite notable. At Match.com
Kim successfully implemented the first integration of Match.com content
with the largest female content website.

Rachel Honoway

Rob Key
President, Converseon
Rob is President & CEO of Converseon, a new breed of communications

direct marketing and advertising are merging, he worked closely with C&W's

Previously, he was worldwide leader for the Deloitte Consulting Group relationship,
where, among other activities, he conceived and executed one of the first

them in the marketplace, including Lycos, Symantec, Internet Security Systems,

Gary Kibel

Gary Kibel is an attorney with the law firm of Davis & Gilbert LLP in New York. He practices in the
areas of Advertising/Marketing, New Media, Intellectual Property and Corporate law.
Gary regularly counsels clients with respect to advertising and technology
issues such as interactive advertising, promotions, software and content
licensing, wireless services, cybersquatting, privacy and security, joint
ventures, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and laws affecting the
Internet.
Gary also advises multinational, national and local advertising and public
relations agencies with respect to claim substantiation, false advertising,
sponsorship agreements and the licensing of creative materials. Prior to
becoming an attorney, Gary was an information systems analyst with Merrill
Lynch & Co.
Davis & Gilbert represents many of the country’s leading advertising,
marketing, promotions and public relations agencies, in addition to prominent
technology companies, marketers, and Internet and advertising trade associations.
D. Beth Kirsch
Affiliate Manager, Audible
Beth was brought in to re-launch the Audible affiliate program after the
program was under performing for a number of years. This is her fourth
affiliate program. Her other programs included
Sheet Music Plus, GroupEngines and ActionAce.com. She is a strong believer
in giving affiliates the tools and support they need to succeed.
Before moving into e-commerce, Beth worked in politics lobbying for national
environmental groups, such as the National Wildlife Federation working
on campaigns to save the Arctic National Wildlife
Refuge and the Ancient Forests of the Pacific Northwest. She also worked
for Democratic Party candidates including Bill Clinton.
Beth is a graduate of Hampshire College with a degree in environmental economics.
Chris Kramer

Jonathan Miller

Originally trained in classical marketing Jonathan made the transition to Internet Business in 1997,
setting up numerous industry portals and sites. Jonathan is widely recognized as an expert affiliate
marketer and has set up and managed programs in such diverse industries as Online Gaming, Life

Jeff Molander

For nearly 17 years, Jeff Molander has consulted to leading marketers helping them to control

Corey Newhouse

Corey Newhouse is the Director and Chief Hitchhiker for FreeRide.com, one of the oldest loyalty
sites on the Web. Established in 1997 and resurrected in 2003, FreeRide rewards its members with
points (called “Tokens”) for shopping, taking surveys, reading email and browsing the site. These
Tokens can be redeemed for gift cards, merchandise and more.
Prior to joining FreeRide, Corey ran GreatBuyUSA.com, the online arm of direct marketing giant
Media Solution Services. There he established the affiliate program, created and implemented the
search engine marketing strategy and created online partnerships with Fortune 500 banks and
financial institutions. He designed and built online testing models, created successful email
marketing programs and established a Canadian sister site GreatBuyCanada.com.
In 1999, Corey began his Internet career by founding the marketing department at start-up
CityStuff.com, an e-commerce site that delivered city-specific food, clothing and souvenirs
nationwide. Having no idea what CPM stood for, he braved the waters of the dot-com boom & bust
and learned the ropes of the Web in real time. Although Citystuff did not ultimately survive (RIP), its
legacy lives on in his spirit.
Corey's prior careers include 7 years in the music business doing radio promotion for record labels
including MCA, Jive, and TVT and as an entrepreneur in the commercial maintenance sector.
He graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Economics and a Masters in Cynicism. He is
a car fanatic and loves to skeet shoot.
Chris Park

Chris is Blair.com's Affiliate/Partnership Manager. He's managed Blair.com's affiliate program with
Performics since its inception, which began along with the launch of Blair.com in January 2001.
Blair.com quickly became a leading Performics merchant. In July 2001, Chris added an additional
Blair.com affiliate program with Commission Junction. Blair.com's affiliate program with CJ is
regularly ranked #1 in its primary category.
Chris has been employed by Blair for nearly 15 years, beginning his career in Blair's advertising dept.
He recently spoke on a panel about Effective Affiliate Management Strategies at AffiliateForce2003.
Dan Pfeffer

Dan Pfeffer is Manager of Distribution Services at LinkShare. He is primarily responsible for
developing relationships with LinkShare affiliates, and helping to grow their businesses through the
creation of revenue-driving partnerships with LinkShare merchants. His previous experience includes
business development and sales management in both direct marketing and outside sales. Dan
earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his MBA in
Marketing from the University of Colorado, Denver.
Ryan Phelan

Ryan Phelan has spent the last 8 years assisting companies succeed through effective and profitable

Wayne Porter

Mr. Porter is the driving strategic force behind SpywareGuide.com - a leading news and information
source discussing technologies ranging from marketing and advertising-focused devices to privacyinvading
espionage tools used by a wide variety of legitimate and illegitimate concerns. His company
also markets a number of useful privacy tools for both consumers and large enterprise. In addition he
leads the publishing efforts of Revenews.com, a GMD Studios brand, dedicated to educating
marketers about the affiliate marketing industry, micro-retailing and viral marketing.
In the past he has served as Vice President of Business Development for such companies as
AffTrack (a leading provider of revenue data collection and processing for large, retail-focused
affiliates) and is a prominent writer, performance marketing consultant and speaker. Porter was
integral in bringing together the fiercely competitive affiliate networks so as to help develop and
publish an industry Code of Conduct... essentially, a set of ethics and business practice guidelines
for the largest of retail-focused affiliates and business partners. This Code was focused on the use of
downloadable applications by affiliates such that they "playing fairly" amongst themselves and with
consumers. Mr. Porter also served on the FTC's Spyware Workshop Panel in Washington, D.C.
leading discussions on new technological responses to spyware.
Jeffrey Reberry

Director of Affiliate Marketing for eBags.com and TUMI.com (April 99 July 03). Jeff joined
eBags.com in early 1999 to launch an affiliate marketing program and in a little over 4 years it has
generated more than $10 million revenue and paid out over $1.5 million in commissions.
In early 2002 a second program was launched for TUMI.com. Both programs combined this year will
do more than $8 million in revenue and Jeff successfully launched a 2nd program on the CJ network
in early 2003. Jeff left eBags in July 2003 to pursue other interest and he now consults to several
other companies in the online marketing area, with a strong emphasis on affiliate marketing.
